That's one of the phrases I say often to my husband. He laughs at me and shakes his head wondering what strange idea is going to spew forth from my mouth. But seriously here's what I'm thinking. Ever hear a song, see a movie, smell a smell, feel a breeze and are transported back in time to a little place in history, good or bad and it can't be stopped? I know that experience well and good or bad memories, it doesn't matter, I love that feeling.
Even if you don't frequent the country stations you may be familiar with Kenny Chesney's song "I go back." It can be summed up in the lines 'every time I hear that song, I go back." There are so many things that take me back to another time. I was thinking I could drag you along through that journey in my mind.
I can't promise you're gonna remember the people we'll meet or recall the feelings I felt or the exact impact it had in my existense, but you should at least be mildly entertained.
